"Those who think they have no time for exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness."
- Edward Stanley
Each patient we work with is a unique human being, with a personal story and lived experience(s), which influences their perspective, goals, and thoughts when dealing with or recovering from injury.
Unfortunately, the current delivery of physical therapy services often does not foster an environment where concerns are heard and an appreciation for and understanding of the patient's unique ecosystem is developed. Instead, clinician's are often enslaved to documentation and productivity standards which limit their ability to provide a high level of care. Our goal is to provide 1-on-1 care that is safe, effective, and empowering to return patients to their vocation of life. By working with you to develop a customized treatment plan, which is cost-effective and individualized, you will begin to understand the complexities of the human body while also appreciating the remarkable affinity our bodies have for health and healing. It is time to move beyond pain, injury, and limitations. It is time to redefine your limits! |
QUESTIONS?? More Info Below
Will Trexo PT Accept my insurance provider?
Trexo PT believes that patients should have a say in determining which services will best meet their needs and fit their budget within an episode of physical therapy. As such, Trexo PT is an out-of-network provider, which means that we do not directly accept insurance or reimbursement from a third party insurer. By being out-of-network we are able to work directly with you, rather than your insurance company, to ensure your plan of care is individualized, provided in a 1-on-1 atmosphere without distractions from other patients or clients, and specifically meets your needs to facilitate your return to health and prior level of function.
Your out-of-network physical therapy benefits can be easily determined by contacting your insurance provider - a number is often located on the back of your insurance card. Additionally, your insurance company often will reimburse you for some, if not all, of your PT services if you have a PPO plan or a HDP (high deductible plan) with HSA (health savings account) or FSA (flexible savings account). After each appointment, you will receive an itemized receipt with all of the information need for submission for reimbursement. In order to further assist you, we will provide a worksheet to help in taking the guess work out of the process and ensure you obtain all of the required information.
Please contact us with any additional questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to helping you!

Why is Trexo PT "out of network"?
Healthcare is changing, at times for the better and at times for the worse. Unfortunately, the current model of traditional insurance and physical therapy often results in the patient (i.e. you) having your care filtered and influenced by your insurance company, resulting in ineffective and often unnecessary treatment. By working as an out-of-network provider Trexo PT is able to deliver the highest quality of care in a timely manner that is personalized for you and your individualized experience.
What is the result of this type of individualized and personal level of care? While many physical therapy clinics often see their patient(s) anywhere from 2-4 times per week, Trexo PT often schedules only 1 time per week, with an emphasized approach to educate, empower and equip you with the resources and information you need throughout a variety of formats. Our goal is to partner with you in order to improve your confidence, expand your ability, and restore your autonomy apart from the medical system.
